Lining up early on grid for qualifying Checking tire temps afterwards
Rain on grid for the first class race - and we're all on dry tires! Taking the green - it's sunny, but still damp By the end of the race we were in full dry conditions.
Gregg got to take his TA out for lapping, with Brian along for coaching At long last... The jury's still out on whether or not this was a good idea: best lap time yet, and put it in the wall too.
Gregg, care to accept a friendly wager? Alex talks his way into a ride to the grid on Daddy's lap Careful planning and procedures are the best way to ensure success!
I'm not sure if Merritt was trying to show off the helmet paint job, the ISAAC device, or other hardware...
Lining up for the green in the second Class Race
Doug works his way into the lead, if only briefly!   Chasing Doug down after putting a few wheels off
And that's about how we finished - 0.1 seconds apart Nothing like some stiff competition!
  Alex catches some Z's
Thanks to a better performance in the 2nd Class Race, we're sitting on the front row for the Feature Race
We get a sticker for each win... One last beauty shot before the storm
Starter wires being quickly reconnected on grid (note the proper use of a jackstand) Feature Race Pace Lap
Closing up for the start Taking the green flag for the start of the Feature Hanging on to my lead, but Doug puts up a stiff fight

Recovering from hitting the tire wall at 72 mph, two laps left in the race The cars behind have some loose tires to dodge! Yeah, I'm OK...
...just PO'd!! Checking out the damage Driving it in at the end of the race
Slight denting here No damage here Kinda ugly here, but not too bad
This is what took the brunt of the hit A-arm and swaybar endlink are bent, and the brake caliper is broken (not visible here)
Ok, just hold it right there... ...and give it a big whack! The front-left light... survived with little damage! Tough cars, these...

Still managed to drive it onto the trailer...
